I tried crossfit and I almost died...
Ok, maybe I didn't die but this sport is NO joke. I had the opportunity to try a boot-camp class at a Gym in Montreal called Abattoir CrossFit Plateau.
"CrossFit is defined as a high-intensity fitness program incorporating elements from several sports and types of exercise."
The workout I tried consisted of a circuit of 4 exercises and the group had to complete 5 rounds (I only did 3, because the way my cardio is set up...) The workout was the following:
Overall it was a great workout, probably one of the hardest I ever did when it comes to endurance. What I liked about CrossFit is that they take the time to carefully teach you each movement in depth, so you might spend 30 minutes learning the movements and another 30 minutes doing the exercises.
